A stone boma with the seating built around the fire. Wood is ours to provide. Most evenings it is already burning by the time guests come back through the gate. Available to book privately.

Complimentary parking within the gated estate, watched over by security beams and CCTV cameras so your vehicle is kept safe throughout your stay. Arrive, park, and leave the car exactly where it is. The only journeys left to make are the ones between the pool, the firepit and your suite.

Ilona was built one room at a time, and each one was finished before the next one started. That is why the water pressure holds, the linen is good, and the wifi reaches the far end of the garden. Nothing here was rushed to open.
We do not staff a front desk through the night. What we do instead is answer the phone, light the fire, and leave four kinds of rusk in your room so that you are never waiting on a kitchen. If you need something, ask. If you need nothing, better still.
Sleep late. Take the coffee outside. The reserve gate opens at sunrise, and the zebra are worth the alarm.
